Growing up as a twin, everything included both of us. We always did everything together. We had the same friends, had the same closet, and had the same interests. As we grew up we started doing different things. We had always spent most of our time together, but when high school came, things changed.
My twin sister and I decided to attend different high schools. This was exciting, but also somewhat scary. I couldn’t imagine not going to the same school as my twin. However, I believe that mainly good came out of this. We had the opportunity to branch out. We met different friends and studied different things. At the end of the day, we could come together and share with each other all of the things we experienced. Part of me was worried that not seeing each other as often would make us not as close. However, that part of me was wrong. My sister and I have definitely become closer, and still have a close relationship.
