All day and all night I roam the neighborhood in downtown Fredericksburg. I enjoy sitting on humans’ doorsteps and looking inside the houses. The interior of every house is so different! I imagine what it would be like to live in them. I do go inside my human’s house, but I like to spend most of my time outside. Recently, I saw three new younger human girls moving into the house next to mine. They are different from all the other people living on this street because everyone else is older. These girls are leaving more often and coming back later in the night. It keeps things interesting because usually I am all by myself outside when the night comes. They also pay more attention to me. They call me “kitty” and “baby” and “cutie”. Those aren’t nicknames I haven’t heard before—I am cute. Whenever they see me, they stop and stare and tell their other friends to come look. It kind of annoys me, but I let it happen. However, I never walk up to them and give them the satisfaction of petting me. Maybe we will become friends and they won’t act like it’s crazy whenever they see me.
Okay, well I better be going! I have more front porches to explore!

This is adorable! I love the idea of this cat contemplating the many different possible lives they could lead in the various houses of Fredericksburg. The pic was a nice touch too!
Thank you!
